The 6th International Afrigraph conference was held in Pretoria, South Africa. Afrigraph 2009 included a good cross-section of international delegates, and a new format! Two keynote speakers, Roberto Scopigno and David Levin, were included in the programme. There was also greater non-academic involvement: academic papers and tutorials were supplemented with industry-focused presentations.  The conference culminated in a visit to Maropeng, a world famous fossil site with majestic views of the Highveld.
